Yes, there's a difference between criticizing a work, and telling a person they don't have a right to their own views.

Especially telling the creator of a work that they can't have their own opinion of their own work!

It baffles me the sense of entitlement/ownership people get because they have an emotional reaction to a work- whether positive or negative.
