Yusuf Juma is a poet in Uzbekistan, which is not currently a good place to be any kind of independent-thinking person. He's in detention, forbidden to write and will be lucky if nothing worse is happening. You can find out more at Areopagitica, where there is also a poem of his. From this, one can see that he's a memorialist, and we need those guys. There's a petition that can be signed online.
